CUSTOMER PROBLEM

Purchase of a new metal 3D printing machine.

It therefore needs a new dust recovery system to be used only on that machine in order to avoid contamination with other dust from different materials, contamination that could occur due to the filter of the suction system. The recovered material must then be poured into the special sieve, already in the customer’s possession, according to the system shown below in order to recover the valuable product that is still usable.

 
Given the weight of the container full of metal powder and the need to keep it suspended on the sieve, the 3D printer manufacturer devised this lift specifi cally for its tank.

Our solution is the A236 standard ATEX industrial vacuum cleaner by adapting the tank to the manufacturer’s forks of the lift so that our machine can replace a new one.

THE PROCESS

The K.SE.017X is mounted on the housing.

The K.SE.017X is tipped and placed on the system to reinsert the powder into the 3D printer (the powder is always reused). The powder descends thanks to the butterfly valve that is opened when the product is to be discharged.
